picture wall

Everyone collects moments. We keep them in pictures or in things we collect like train and airplane tickets. But you can't enjoy them if you put them in a box and never look at it again. It's the same with all your pictures on your phone I guess. You flip through them every now and then but you can't enjoy them every day. That's why I made this inspirational post (I hope) for you! Take a look at the pictures and see which one suits your room!

Stick them on your wall in a heart shape!

Light them up!

Combine them with lights and a quote!

Make a moodboard and collect your memories on one wall!

Places and pictures, the most wonderful momories on earth.

I hope you got inspired by this post!

Add to your tea
Instead of sugar you can add coconut oil to your tea or coffee. It gives a special taste. I'm not yet sure if I like it but it's definitely worth trying it.

Add to your salad
Here is a cool recepie for a salad dressing. I didn't try this one yet but it's on my list for this summer!

Add to your popcorn
Home made popcorn is sooooo goood! But next time I watch a film with friends I'll make popcorn with coconot oil. How? Cook them in coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. You can also finish your popcorn with coconut oil. So instead of sugar or salt you add coconut oil.

On toast instead of butter
Just use coconut oil on your toast instead of butter.

Homemade lipbalm
I always wanted to try this! Now I'm definitely going to! Klick the link for the recepie.

I can imagine that some of you are curious about what my room looks like. At least I would be ;-)
So here it is: my room tour. Enjoy it!

I keep my clothes in 3 seperate lockers. But as you can see it looks like one closet. I also use my lockers as a magnetbord. I stick a lot of stuf on it like make-up in a holder and my necklaces.

On my bed I have 3 pillows which are handmade. Klick here to see the tutorial.
On shelves above my desk I keep my schoolstuff. Because somethimes I do make homework ;-)

A jar of happiness

It's only 2 weeks until Valentine!! Which means time to show some love to the world. I came a cross this amazing chocolate chip cookies recepie and thought I should share it with my friends. But not just as a recepie on paper but as a cute Valentine's gift. So I bought a weck jar and filled it with all the ingredients. And there you have your original Valentine's gift! For the finishing touch I made a label on canvan.com

  • 2 1/2 cups all-pourpose flower
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 15 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
Mix it all in a bowl ans bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Your oven has to be 180 degrees.

I hope you understand that all the liquid ingredients are not meant to go in your jar but later in your bowl when you start baking. On the label I wrote down what you have to add later, like the eggs and the butter. I also wrote the oven temperature down on the label. I tried to layer all the ingredients so you can see the different colours.

Last week I already gave a jar of happiness to a friend of mine. She was very happy with it. And I can tell you the cookies are delicious!
